LE CARNET ET LA CARTE DÉCOUVERTE

Welcome to La Côte Chalonnaise… our home!

La Côte Chalonnaise is a region with a unique personality, it stretches from the town of Chagny to Tournus, and the river Saône to Saint-Gengoux-le-National, between the valleys of the river Grosne and the Dheune. From the moment you cross the Dheune, a river marking the continuity of the Montceau-Le Creusot trench, hills begin to fill the landscape - thus amplifying your view. This region owes its name to Chalon-sur-Saône, an ancient town for fairs and markets which has expanded with time to become a radiant city. Its busy river port once served as a shipping hub for the wines of the region.
